Pure Soft is a multimedia artist, creating a language to convey relationships of deconstruction, hybridization, and technology. Living and working in Chicago as an artist and software engineer, they also pull from procedurally generated processes to influence and give shape to the context of their sounds. Sampling as a means and a message - has always been a force of gravity for Pure Soft. Drawing inspiration from Oliver Laric's thoughts on hybridization and originality, they seek to expanded upon those relationships to open a wider discussion in the changing technological world.
